Privacy Policy

Forgent Studio (“we”, “us”) is the trading name of Vikas Jaiprakash Chaurasia, a sole proprietor based in Thane (Mumbai Metropolitan Region), Maharashtra, India, registered as a micro enterprise under Udyam. We collect only what we need to reply to enquiries, run workflow audits, deliver client work, and contact businesses about our services. We do not sell your data.

Who to contact

For any question or request about your data, email contact@forgentstudio.com. Vikas Chaurasia handles these requests personally and replies within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What we collect and why

Website enquiries. If you submit the contact form, we receive your name, work email, company website, company size, primary need, and a description of the bottleneck. We use them to reply to you and to prepare your workflow audit. FormSubmit may send you an automatic confirmation email.

Business outreach. We sometimes email businesses whose work we think our services could help. For this we use business contact details the business has published itself, such as on its website or business listing: the business name, a business email address, and where published, a contact person’s name and role. We do not buy email lists. Every email says who we are and how to opt out. If you reply asking us to stop, we stop, and we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list so you are never emailed again.

Client projects. Data handled while delivering a project is covered by the agreement with that client. Client builds use paid, business-tier AI services whose terms exclude training on client data, and each workflow sends a model only the data that step needs.

Legal basis

We handle enquiries to take the steps you asked for before a possible contract, client data to perform a contract, and business outreach and analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and promoting a small business, balanced against your rights. You can object at any time.

Services that process data for us

FormSubmit (delivers form submissions to our inbox), Google Workspace (email and files), Google Analytics (website statistics), Notion (our contact and project records), and Hostinger (website hosting, which keeps standard server logs). Some of these providers store data outside India. We choose established providers and share only what each one needs.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4. It starts only after you first scroll, tap, or press a key, and then records page views and completed enquiry forms so we can see which pages are useful. Google sets cookies and receives your IP address to do this. To opt out, use a browser or extension that blocks analytics, or install Google’s opt-out add-on.

How long we keep data

Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Outreach records: up to 12 months after our last email if there is no reply. Do-not-contact list: kept so that the request is honoured. Client records: for the length of the engagement and as long as tax and accounting law requires afterwards.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, ask us to stop contacting you, or withdraw consent you gave earlier. Email contact@forgentstudio.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live (for example the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, or the Data Protection Board of India once it handles complaints).

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
